8929754 A/C Compressor Mounting Bracket For Detroit Diesel Series 60 York/Square. Welcome to our store, We do our best to provide you the most suitable and Affordable products. Due to the truck’s normal vibes, the A/C compressor bracket’s bolts fail constantly, because the holes on the Gear Cases get “egg shaped”. Aside from the “egg shaped” holes, some of the gear cases (Timing covers) also break where the bolts. That in turn makes the compressor lean either towards the engine fan or towards the cab and that creates a whole bunch of problems from breaking belts to burning the AC compressor’s seal. This was also many trucks’ problem, but this bracket straightened up the compressor so it corrected the misalignment too. With this bracket, you provide total griping and stability to the A/C compressor against the engine block. It goes right on the top of the engine, behind the Radiator Fan, Really easy access, Virtually zero mess. All you have to do is removing the lifting eye and install the new bracket instead.
